Seemingly this young star has gotten everything that he has wanted and with great success, has transformed the empire of Youtube-Vlogging through the lens he has forecasted amongst his audience of youth. But now, the tables have turned, and Logan Paul has been put under the hot-seat amidst the controversial video he had made and posted that had displayed graphic images.
The Youtuber however, had soon removed the video, however, sadly, he video had already received over 6 million views and had been displayed on the YouTube trending videos, and had reached the #1 spot one point or another in time.
The video featured the young man in the Japanese "suicide" Forest right amongst Mount Fuji, which had garnered a mysterious reputation for being the place where people had said their goodbyes. However, things have changed, and the forest has signs on the entrance along with contact and numbers of hotline and prevention centers who are trained to help people under the hot-seat. Suicide has become a prevalent issue in places such as Japan, however isn't limited to that area. Many places have high rates, and the many different circumstances are unique to that of the individual, nonetheless, it is very important that one seeks the help they need. The countries are not to blame entirely, for the power of one lies within, and ultimately, it is up to the individual, however the circumstances and social political and economical lenses can have a better reason for the different rates and demographics associated with those who do. Today, we live in a society that has blossomed from the roots of ancient civilisation to one of highly developed power. It is essential
The Youtuber has since apologized, and has promised to make things better.
Since his video, he has made a suicide prevention video which has helped the young audience and old audiences to recognise the stigma involved with suicide prevention , and Logan himself interviewed a man who had tried to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge, and described how he had felt: "I had jumped, but immediately the second I had left the bridge, I had felt regret." Fortunately, the man who had jumped off the bridge had survived to tell his story, and he talked about all the options available for everyone who had those emotions. Logan then proceeded to display several links and connected his audience with a few hotlines and contacts that would help anyone who was suffering from any impacted thoughts.
Do you think that he should be put under the hot seat amidst all the allegations of misconduct amidst the graphic images? Many people have displayed their shame, as he had disrespected the person who had been in that position.
YouTube has however taken action to help prevent these issues from happening again, including strengthening the video inspectors, and censoring, which is highly prioritised in their "values" and codes of conduct. The company had suspended Logan Paul from YouTube (at least his monetization, not confirmed whether or nor his channel had been completely removed from activity)
The Youngman has since recovered his rights to monetization and is now starting back from where he had came from - vlogs are now back.
Let us know what you think about Logan's return in the comments below- and have a great week everybody!
